About Us
Mickaël Heuzé (Aka Frog)
Since the age of 14, Mickaël's two main aims in life have been, flying paragliders and diving to the deepest frontiers of the ocean.
During his travels to Madagascar in 1995 Mickaël discovered the wonderful underwater world. From that moment on, diving has been a part of his life.
He built up his diving experience with Hankie Vanderheyde a former "Red Coralieur" diver in the Scandola Reserve in Corsica . Diving everyday with ex Coralieur with a backpack and tank, influenced his education as a diver. Such discipline, awareness and self-sufficiency continue to be his priorities in diving.
Seeking more experience as a diver, Mickaël travelled back to Nosy-Be in the north of Madagascar. From there, he moved to Reunion Island, Scotland and England before settling down in the Red Sea working as a full time recreational diving Instructor.
He enrolled in technical diver training with Aaron Bruce, an ex Royal Navy Mine Clearance Diver who become his mentor for many years.
During this time, Mickaël has trained divers from beginners to advanced mixed gas. Additionally he has trained the first Advanced Trimix Archeology Diving Team, in the Red Sea. Mickaël has participated in the launch of several rebreather projects: Kiss, Ouroboros, Megalodon, Pelagian and Sentinel along with Phi Le, Dave Thompson, Andy Fritz, Leon Scamaron, Phil Short and Kevin Gurr.
